✨ Energy That Connects Us I believe we’re connected to everything through energy, including animals. Each of us carries an electromagnetic field, and in the right setting, those fields can interact in ways that are deeply healing.
Animals seem especially attuned to our energy. They pick up on our emotions, our presence, our state of being. But as humans, we’re not always tuned in to theirs. Maybe it’s because they live fully in the moment. Most of us are pulled into the past or future, weighed down by work, plans, and distractions. We’ve lost touch with that quiet space where we can just be, open and present to what’s around us.
🐴 The Healing Attributes of Horses When people talk about animal energy, horses often come up first. There’s growing recognition of equine therapy and the healing power of horses. It makes sense when considering that their electromagnetic fields are five times stronger than ours. But I believe this kind of connection isn’t limited to horses. We can connect with any animal: dogs, cats, even those we haven’t considered before. These relationships can be deeply reciprocal and healing.
Support animals are a powerful example. What is it, exactly, that a dog senses in their person just before a seizure? How do they know when to step in, sometimes even risking their own safety to protect someone they love? There’s something profound happening in that bond. Something we don’t fully understand yet, but can feel.
🎨 Art as a Portal to Connection Most pet owners have some sense of this connection. But not everyone has experienced it or recognized it, even with animals they live with. That’s part of what drives my work. I want to bring more awareness to this shared energy and this sacred bond. I believe it matters, not just for individuals but for our collective well-being.
When someone looks at one of my paintings, I hope they see more than a likeness. I hope they pause long enough to meet the eyes, to take in the expression. I want them to feel the energy of the being behind the image and to get a sense of their essence. I want them to recognize there’s something more there, and to let it move them.
